Joshua Chatraw was appointed the Billy Graham Chair for Evangelism and Cultural Engagement in 2023. His work centers on public theology, apologetics, evangelism, and culture, and he is the author or editor of several books, including The Augustine Way, Surprised by Doubt, and Telling a Better Story An award-winning writer, he also serves as an inaugural fellow at The Timothy Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics. Before joining the Beeson faculty, Chatraw held leadership, teaching, and pastoral roles in North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.
